StrongPoint signs sponsorship deal with Norwegian football club Bodø/Glimt
01. April 2023
To mark its 2025 strategy, StrongPoint has launched a 25-year sponsorship deal with Norwegian top division football club Bodø/Glimt. The agreement means that StrongPoint will sponsor the team with 25 MNOK annually from 2025, inspired by StrongPoint’s financial ambitions to reach 2.5 Bn NOK by 2025.

As part of the deal, the new stadium will be renamed the StrongPoint Arena and will be opened in 2025 to coincide with StrongPoint’s 2025 strategy
Bodø/Glimt, like StrongPoint, has been performing in the top division and has proven itself to be a winning team. Their head coach has prioritised focused passing, high-performance dribbling, and hyper-efficient goal scoring, making it the perfect partner for StrongPoint.

The team has beaten some of the top European clubs including Roma and Celtic and has played most recently in the Europa League, mirroring StrongPoint’s international expansion and success.
“As a Bodø/Glimt supporter since I was old enough to walk, this deal is a dream come true for me. We can help support their winning formula for success, at home and abroad just like what StongPoint does in-store and online,” said Bodø/Glimt super supporter Jacob Tveraabak, StrongPoint CEO. There are also 3 more members of StrongPoint’s management team who are from northern Norway, and they are just as thrilled as Jacob about the new sponsorship agreement.
As part of the agreement StrongPoint will be the most prominent sponsor on the home and away kits in addition to the rebranded arena. Furthermore, the new arena will include a StrongPoint VIP section, exclusively for StrongPoint employees. This section will only have gold coated chairs, in addition to unlimited free food and drinks.
