We are looking for a Software Development Manager to join our team in Lithuania.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Leadership: Act as a people manager, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to a diverse team of developers with varying levels of seniority working on different products.
  • Professional Growth: Empower team members by giving them autonomy and identifying growth opportunities. Set clear goals and provide direction and clarity needed for each team member to achieve and evaluate their personal goals, as well as agree on shared team-level objectives.
  • Resource Management: Ensure that team members have the necessary resources and support to achieve their objectives. Secure that the team has the appropriate capacity and knowledge to deliver results.
  • Onboarding and Training: Clarify and optimize the onboarding process for new team members. Provide proper training as needed to ensure smooth integration and knowledge transfer.
  • Continuous Learning: Foster an environment where continuous learning and experimentation are valued and celebrated. Encourage and facilitate functional and cross-functional collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  • Documentation and Communication: Assure there is appropriate documentation to make relevant information and knowledge accessible to team members (internal & external). Communicate regularly and transparently with the team, stakeholders, and upper management.
  • Technology Leadership: Lead the decision-making process for technology and tools used by the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software development leadership roles, with a track record of successfully leading teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Leadership experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

  • Gross salary for this position 3 230 – 4 845 Eur. Salary offer for the candidate depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate
