Norwegian Minister of Digitalisation Visits StrongPoint to Experience Cutting-Edge Grocery Technology

StrongPoint, a leading grocery technology provider, was proud to welcome the Norwegian Minister of Digitalisation and Public Governance, Karianne Oldernes Tung, to its offices and Customer Experience Centre in Oslo today.

The Minister personally tested StrongPoint’s next generation AI powered self-checkout, including its automated age verification feature for restricted items. She also explored the company’s world leading order picking solution for grocery e-commerce, the next generation Vensafe with in aisle ticket dispensing, and AI powered digital scales for packaging free product dispensing that allow customers to bring their own containers.

During the visit, Minister Tung emphasised the potential of Norwegian innovation in a rapidly changing retail landscape, and the country’s opportunity to serve as a hub for advanced technology.
