Senior Developer/Architect
We are looking for a Senior Developer/Architect to join our Digital Retail Solutions department.
The Team/Product
You will be an integral member of a passionate and collaborative cross-functional team, dedicated to working with cutting-edge products like ERP and POS systems. The team comprises over 45 professionals, including Product Managers, System Analysts, Quality Assurance engineers, Developers, and various other experts.
As we build the team from the ground up, we are searching for an exceptional individual who will not only have the opportunity to assemble and lead the team but will also actively contribute to programming efforts.
What you will do
As a Senior Developer/Architect, you will play a crucial role in driving our development efforts and shaping the future of our POS software solution:
• Lead the design, development (hands-on), and implementation of complex software systems using Linux, GIT, Postgresql, SQL, Docker, Angular, JavaScript, and Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and propose architectural solutions that meet scalability, performance, and security requirements
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and guide developers in implementing effective and efficient solutions
• Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies using Docker and other relevant technologies
• Perform system analysis and troubleshooting, resolving complex technical issues and optimizing performance
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential applications and proposing innovative solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define architectural roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What we expect from you
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Senior Developer/Architect, with a strong background in Linux, GIT, Postgresql, SQL, Docker, Angular, JavaScript, and Java
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
• Experience in leading the development and implementation of software systems
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to propose innovative solutions to complex challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends
• Experience in retail business is advantage
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
