Job Summary:

Are you a Project Manager looking for an exciting, new challenge within the retail sector, delivering cutting edge solutions for the largest retailers in the UK?

We’re looking for an experienced and talented Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination and execution of in-store and e-commece product implementation.

As a Project Manager at StrongPoint, you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of multiple retail in-store and e-commerce projects. You will have a strong understanding of challenges within retail and will have the technical knowledge and experience of delivering high tech products, such as in-store and dark store picking, automation and other order fulfilment solutions. You’ll be commercially aware, reviewing the feasibility of projects at inception as well as understanding and tracking P&Ls for the business.

Key responsibilities include:

· Leading and managing projects from defining scope, building and managing budgets, programmes and variations, implementation, communication and handovers

· Be the main point of contact for clients and internal leadership for project updates.

· Overseeing budgets, timelines, change management and team coordination.

· Ensuring delivery of projects to an excellent standard and in accordance with H&S regulations, local legislations and StrongPoint’s processes & ways of working.

· Active management of delivery of a project in accordance with the brief and scope

· Risk & Issue Management.

Requirements:

At least 5 years experience in project delivery, ideally within a retail environment.

· A strong understanding of challenges within retail and have the technical knowledge and experience of delivering high tech products.

· Experience improving and adopting new ways of working, processes and systems.

· Experience using Project Management systems (eg Smartsheets, Trello etc.)

· Experience in setting up projects with the required structure (including but not limited to internal & external project teams, responsibilities, approvals process, meetings, communication strategy, etc)

· Demonstrated understanding of Change and Stakeholder Management; effectively balance stakeholders at both strategic and tactical levels.

· Project Management qualifications desirable.

· You must hold a valid driving licence
